No. 3 Sail Loft/ Lobht nan Seol 3...

The Sail Loft is a grade A listed building, situated on the North Beach, facing the pituresque inner harbour of Stornoways's historic waterfront. Originally built in the 1820's as a warehouse for the storage and repair of nets, it has an architectural quality that belies it's origins, reflecting the importance and prosperity of the fishing industry in the Western Isles in the 18th and 19th centuries.

In 2006 it was converted and restored into 3 luxury townhouses with every effort made to retain original features and combine them with high spec modern home comforts.

No. 3 Sail Loft (or Lobht nan Seol 3 in Gaelic) is cossetted on the end, west facing gable with views to Lews Castle and Cuddy Point, the launch site for many a boating activity! The house has french windows on each of it's 3 floors making the most of the stunning views over the harbour.
